We are delighted to announce that our collaboration with Camden Council will be providing a second group of local entrepreneurs with fully funded workspace to help support the growth of their businesses.

From September, ten new businesses across a range of industries, including illustration, technology and food & beverage will be granted six months access to LABS facilities and networking opportunities.

“As part of Camden’s approach to developing a more inclusive economy, our ongoing partnership with LABS will better enable underrepresented business owners in the borough to access opportunities they need to progress their businesses,” Councilor Danny Beales, Cabinet Member for Investing in Communities, Culture and an Inclusive Economy said.

“This speaks to the heart of the council’s mission to make Camden one of the best places in London for entrepreneurs to base themselves and their business.

“We know access to workspace can have a catalytic impact on businesses, by providing opportunity for business owners to network with others in various industries, space to think and scale, and access to the latest information and opportunities to underpin development.

“Camden business owners are renowned for their creativity, dynamism and entrepreneurial spirit, and the partnership with LABS will support business owners to channel their energy within the context of steady progress to a more robust local economy.”

Matt Watts, Chief Commercial Officer at LABS, added: “Continuing our partnership with Camden Council to provide the area’s talented entrepreneurs with access to valuable resources is hugely important to LABS.

“Our aim with this endeavor is to help support the ambitions of these businesses at a critical time for their growth and development.

“Entrepreneurship is at the heart of the UK economy with around 99.2% of businesses being SME’s. It is these businesses that can revolutionise our technology, create new markets for services and products, and bring about competition that boosts productivity, which benefits both the UK and global economies.”
